She, Talarico, Goodwin and John Bryant led the fight against vouchers. She does well in the big blue metroplexes and her father is the past TDP chair and has always been strong in the Valley. Bobby Cole is the salt of the earth kind of guy and he would do well in the rural areas, but we know Dems and rural. Still I like him and hope he runs again in the future. Lt Governor Vicki Goodwin might not be most charasmatic candidate ever, but what she lacks in flash she more than makes up in brains. Her campaign started spring before last, and she's been traveling the state since then. Her campaign also put together a grant program small county chairs to fund things they feel will work in their county. She also did a weekly Zoom with the candidates running for the state House back in 24. She's in it for the people of Texas and is working hard to talk to as many as possible. Comptroller Michael Lange knows business and also knows politics. He is looking to step down from his successful business to work for the people of Texas. I know this guy well. I have travelled with him several times to appearances. He knows business, water and water rights and how to get the best out of the Comptroller's Office to serve all Texans, not just the wealthy. Land Commissioner That one is a toss up between Loya and Flores. Ag Commissioner Clayton Tucker is the anti Sid Miller, bright and young. Railroad Commission Jon Rosenthal has served in the State house and graduated from UT with a ME in 91. He's got O&G experience as well. Senator Talarico. VOTE ALL THE WAY DOWN THE BALLOT. The TDP has been fighting this negativity since we put in the new Chair, Kendall Scudder. We are making some great changes and working to drag the rest of the country along with us into redifining and re-igniting the national party. I can't argue with the NYT here. I get angry when I see some of the crap that comes out of DC...along with the concept of how many very elderly people we have representing us. Watch this year for a much different approach to the November election.
